Joy

Joy isn’t meant to be a fleeting emotion in our lives. God intends that we experience joy even in sorrow. Tears wiped away reveal a crooked smile deep in our hearts that says His joy is present even though our hearts may be hurting over painful, real life dramas. When there seems to be cause for worry, or we are thrust into mourning when loss has been suffered, God is still with us and with Him are all the facets of the abundant life He promised His people. Even joy.
